Asylumcam was started by "Doc". Doc was in the Air Force and looking for off base housing for his family. Four kiddies and wife. After finding a lovely Victorian house Doc decided to run cams so the grand parents could watch the kiddies grow. It was about this time that Moe met Doc. The first contact was a email in which Moe asked Doc "Are you for real". Moe and Doc have been friends ever since.

Moe served as staff for Doc for years. Moe became manager of the site in 2007.

As more and more people found the cams it became apparent that spirits were moving about in the house. The site grow from a one page blog with a cam or two to what it is now.

In 2008 Doc and Pooky decided the old Victorian was much to large for the family. The dream was to eventually build their own home with "limited stairs". They moved out in preparation for building their dream house. They moved into Pookys parents house.

In May 2009 Doc asked Moe to buy the site. Both Moe and Doc had decided they both wanted the site to continue.

About Moe:

Moe has been helping people deal with paranormal activity for 30 plus years. Teddy Moe's better half has been helping people since the mid 60's. Together with her better half they have helped people take charge of severe haunting's. They were part of a team which one by one literally died off. Moe and Teddy found themselves "a two person team" taking on cases to help people reclaim their homes. They never had a team name. They were simply "these people who can help you".

The team gives comfort and offers advice in dealing with activity.

The Teams usual area is Tri state. New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Delaware and Maryland. In severe cases they will travel far to help someone. Again' they travel far distances when it is a severe haunting. Not a "Oh this is fun" haunting. Gas and lodging costs money. No one on the team is independently wealthy. The team have families and bills just like everyone else. They have jobs to take care of those things. They cannot afford to waste money on nonsense.
