Interview with the Ghost Hunter

"To each, their own". A popular phrase we’ve all said, heard and read before. Everyone has his or her own unique belief system when it comes to the paranormal. Where some beliefs of one person might be similar to someone else's, there are also stark contrasts and opposites of other beliefs as well.

Some believe that aliens are little green men with black slits for eyes, where others think they are something completely different. While some of you may believe that the folks at T.A.P.S. (a.k.a. Ghost Hunters) are most likely to find evidence of ghostly apparitions because they have high-tech equipment to assist them in their hunts, there will be those who may not share the same belief and think otherwise.

From hauntings to alien abductions to religion, Dirk Vander Ploeg has a candid chat with Hans Holzer, author and parapsychologist on these topics and gives “HIS OWN” unique perspective on his beliefs.

Having talked with Dr. Holzer personally I can state that he is a scientist first. His accolades are incredible.

He has told me: he does not approve of the term supernatural as there is nothing super natural it is simply unexplained. First hand witnesses are  imperative to make a determination. He always  tries to have an accredited deep trance medium with him on an investigation. Belief and disbelief have no place in an investigation. Only scientific proof is acceptable. The term paranormal is acceptable as it simply  means that which is not normally seen or experienced.

He is the man who was first called "The Ghost Hunter" in my opinion he can not be equaled for his steadfast dedication or knowledge of the paranormal.

Yes that is an interesting way to look at things.

I myself have always thought that what we call the "supernatural" are purely and simply manifestations of the higher dimensions, and the concept of higher dimensions are well known in physics and other science disciplines.

I am inclined to agree with Mr. Holzer in that [some of] todays 'reality' ghost shows qualify as "nonsense", as compared to how I would like bonafide ghost hunting to go. I have always felt that the use of 'ghost hunting gadgets' make for a nice start for the visual audience... but are greatly lacking. It makes me wonder why they would limit themselves without the aide of a qualified and respected medium if their true quest was to make contact or document presence of a past entity.

I thank Mr. Holzer for his time and qualified perspective, and I thank you Amon Skywalker for this very interesting read.
