Ancient wall may prove bible as fact
By spooky_uk

Well when moe gave me the link to this article she said that if i do not have time she would write this up herself, That is the kind of owner we have here on the asylum,  First I read the title and my first thought was oh gosh here we go again, someone else wanting to prove to the world that the bible is true, but then i read the article and i can see what this person means.

Those that are close to me know my opinion on the Bible and God, But for those that don`t let me tell you what i think. But first let me say, I respect all no matter if you believe in this or not, I feel everyone has a right to there own ideas and believe`s, What i say is ment to up-set no one.

I do not believe in God but i do not dis-believe in God, I am kind of half and half on the Bible and God, I have thought many times that the bible was wrote by a few people as stories maybe intended for there kids.  God, now if i was him then i would not be to happy with what people on Earth are doing with my creation, Then i also have to think that i do believe in alien life and it is hard for me to believe that the universe and all the other planets including all alien life was created by this one being, the point being if he did create all of this wonder then why does he sit back and let us distroy it, because i know for a fact i would not. But with that said, Could my opinions on God and the bible be wrong?  Could it be that the bible is right?   Well human-kind could now be one step closer to finding out.

Ancient fortifications have been excavated in Jerusalem and is said to date back 3000 years to the time of kings David and Solomon, If they can prove the wall is that old then some experts say it would indicate that the kings of this time did have the resources and manpower to build such large fortifications and it would prove that the bibles account of this time in history is true.

You can read all about the excavated fortifications on the following link....

This is interesting spooky.... I'm the kind of person that believes there are many ways to worship God.... and that any religion a person is if it works for them then that is the way they are to worship the divine....

I was always taught growing up that God was everything.... in everything... and that he wasn't man or woman... but Love.... and get this... my Mom and Dad were Baptist!!!! Login or Register to view images But my mom has worshiped in a few different types of christian religions....

It doesn't bother me if someone says that they don't believe in God... I've had good friends before that felt this way... but it never in anyway made me feel that they weren't the good friend and person that they were.  I've had friends that are Wiccan.... Christian..... Agnostic..... Eclectic.....

But I don't think it will change the way I feel about how I believe in God if everything in the Bible ends up being true or not.... I have a terrific connection with the Divine... and that's what matters to me...

... and for what ever it's worth, I don't care to put out there that I'm Eclectic when it comes to my beliefs.... I have my own way pulled from a few religions that I feel is the best way for me to connect with God or the Divine and it keeps my heart very warm.... isn't that what religion suppose to do????

But anyways..... Love you spooky.... and everyone else here!!!! Login or Register to view images

I know there is God. This is not about belief.

The Bible is a history book.  That pretty much sums it up.

The argument has always been waged that there is little evidence to support many of the stories in the Bible.

The significance of this wall is that it supports an aspect of the book of Solomon. It backs up the story that Solomon was capable of building because he did have the man power. The wall proves that.

Interesting.
